Hawaii Poke Bowl

This is not my first time at Hawaii Poke. I love the selection of premium ingredients and choose your own factor. Today's review is on the taiyaki (fish-shaped, pastry dessert). I wanted to highlight this unique dessert as it may be unknown (yet to be discovered to most.) Taiyaki is traditionally flavored with a red bean paste that's slightly sweet wrapped in a crunchy pancake-like batter in the shape of a fish. I love the taste and texture of taiyaki. So it was not hard choice whether or not to get one. The red bean paste was smooth and velvety. Right on par. The batter could have been slightly crisper. Perhaps the batter could have been left a little longer to achieve a better crunch to my liking. Overall, it is definitely worth trying and a delightful snacking experience.

Refreshing, filling portions and clean place. The casual spot is a nice pick me up for a healthy lunch. Everything tasted fresh in my rainbow bowl, overall great Poke!

I didn't have time to break for lunch today so when my friend offered to pick something up, I let him make the choice. And, oh boy what a choice. First off, I do love poke. Fresh, tasty, plenty yummy! Today's bowl of salmon was perfect. Tons of different textures with crunch, julienned cucumber, firm edamame, soft rice and lots and lots of salmon. No question, a filling and satisfying meal. Looking for something yummy? Hawaii Poke all the way!

So happy to get West Coast level quality and attention to a beloved seafood dish! Very reasonably priced for the high quality and flavor. Wonderful ambiance and just steps to the lake.

Really enjoy this place. The style of food is right up my alley. I keep thinking I'll make my own mix but I always grab one of the menu options as I always realize what I was craving was up there. At this point I've tried them all. Service has always been excellent, food has always been high quality, place is always clean. I only went 4 stars on atmosphere because it's just a bit too empty space for my tastes, but it's still a positive aspect.
